The Sage Riders Motorcycle Club was formed in
1980 with its first  president being Robert Hutchings.   The club’s first race
was a motocross  held at the “Lark” track near Lehi.  Preston Gerber took over
as club  president in 1981 and the club sponsored its first desert
race.
